It is a 24-hour hot spot for people young and old, local, and foreign.

You will find “The Galata Tower” at the end of Istiklal street, built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinianos in 507-508AD. The Genoese rebuilt the current tower in 1348-49, it is a medieval stone tower with cone-capped cylinder that dominates the skyline and offers a panoramic view of Istanbul. It is a nine-story tower with an observation deck and was the city’s tallest structure at the time it was built. Fourteen tons of gold leaf was used to adorn the ceilings of the palace. At the centre of the hall, the world’s largest Bohemian crystal chandelier can be found; it was a gift from Queen Victoria. The chandelier has 750 lamps and weighs 4.5 tons. Dolmabahçe has the largest collection of Bohemian and Baccarat crystal chandeliers in the world, and one of the great staircases has bannisters of Baccarat crystal, brass and mahogany, all in the shape of a horseshoe. 4. Day 4 Istanbul

Istanbul Bazaar and shopping Tour: Meet at the lobby 9:00 am.

      Tour of Spice Market:

No visit to Istanbul is complete without stopping by the atmospheric Spice Bazaar. While the Covered Market may be the largest and most famous of Istanbul’s covered bazaars, this spice market wins the prize for being the most colorful, fragrant, and often the most fun, as visitors can taste the items on sale.
Built in 1664, as part of the Yeni Camii complex, it is known in Turkish as Egyptian Bazar as well.

Aside, from the spices, there are: rosebud, jasmine, fruit teas, Turkish delight in every color and flavor, herbal remedies; dried fruits such as apricots, figs, dates and even strawberries and kiwis; honey and nut soaked baklava; olive oil soaps; Turkish Coffee; and much more.

      Tour of Covered Market:

Covered Bazar built in 15th century, is the oldest covered market in the world covering area of 55,000 sq. meters having around 4,000 shops. It has 21 gates, 51 streets and around 4,000 shops selling all type of items including tiles, ceramics, gold, silver, leather goods, carpets, and kilims and many more gift items.

      Lunch break 13.00-14.00.

      Tour of shopping mall:

Istinye Park is one of the most luxurious and one of the largest shopping malls in Istanbul. The center is divided into two sections: an indoor shopping mall with hundreds of shops bringing together Turkish and international ready-to-wear brands, appliances, a floor dedicated to restaurants (mostly fast food), a covered bazaar where you will find spices and more traditional products, a cinema with an imax3d room, and much more.

But what really catches our attention in İstinye Park is the open section, organized like a small village where each brand has its own building. Here you will find luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Prada, Celine and Fendi, Hugo Boss, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton, Zara, Boyner, Mango, M.A.C., Sephora, Sevil and Vakko.
